General Responsibilities
- Guide clients through comparing Medicare, health, life, dental, vision, critical illness, and hospital indemnity options
- Conduct appointments by phone or online screen-share
- Maintain required licensing, carrier appointments, and continuing education
- Provide honest, education-first guidance rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch
Desired Qualities
- Patience and clear communication, especially with senior clients
- A genuine interest in education over a hard sell
- Comfort working independently while representing a local agency
Licensing Requirements
A valid state insurance license is required, along with any applicable AHIP or carrier-specific certifications needed to represent the products you'll sell.
